Hi Buddhika, I was so glad to see this. Not everyone in this country is brave enough to admit one’s father is a farmer. I have a question though. Why he cultivates kochchi? I am not sure about its commercial value. Aren’t there more commercially valuable crops? You should be able to tell him about more commercially viable corps.

We have a big garden. But there is no water. Father cultivates kochchi for home use. He uses tap water.

chanuka ayya, kochci 100g 40Rs withara wenawa. A lot of people in Colombo and suburbs buy them at pola for higher prices.
